Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Be monitored at the Pain Therapy and Palliative Care Service (STDCP) to control symptoms arising from any type of neoplasia at any stage; a diagnosis of chronic pain recorded in the medical record; both genders, male and female; be between 18 and 75 years old on the date of the first collection; able to understand Portuguese (read and write); normal vision and hearing; have an Android cell phone; able to perform movements with the head and with sufficient motor control to perform body movements; agree to participate in the study and sign the Free and Informed Consent Form (ICF)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients of the indigenous race, due to cultural, linguistic peculiarities and legislation special; patients with records of serious psychiatric illnesses in the medical record from Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), schizophrenia, schizotypal disorders, delusional disorders, borderline and dementia; impairment of the ability to understand or communicate based on the researcher's assessment; report of discomfort with the use of Immersive Virtual Reality; progression of the disease with the limitation of maintaining the proposed regular outpatient return; patients with brain tumors, brain metastases, or past history of seizures
