18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: University students with complaints of neck pain; both genders; aged between 18 and 40 years; not using any controlled medication, except for contraceptives; not undergoing any type of physical therapy or similar treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Be pregnant; history of spinal fracture and/or surgery; history of tumor or cancer in the spine, pelvic organs, and/or gastrointestinal tract; skin problems such as mycoses, recent wounds, psoriasis, cuts, or dermatitis in general; physical impairments that prevent the performance of the proposed treatments

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in static and dynamic postural control and balance, assessed using the Berg Balance Scale and the Functional Reach Test, applied before and after the physiotherapeutic intervention period

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in cervical pain intensity, assessed using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), applied before and after the physiotherapeutic intervention;Improvement in cervical functionality, measured by the Neck Disability Index (NDI), applied before and after the treatment
