Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women over 18 years of age; having had sexual intercourse with vaginal penetration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not knowing how to read and not being able to answer the questionnaires; having a urinary tract infection; having purulent and yellowish vaginal discharge; having undergone previous pelvic radiotherapy; having neurological disease; having pain during vaginal penetration during sexual intercourse; knowing how to contract the pelvic floor correctly and not accepting to participate in the research and/or not signing the TCLE

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of isolated contraction of the floor muscles without the use of accessory muscles through vaginal palpation

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assess pelvic floor muscle strength using the modified Oxford scale;Measure the resistance and grip of the pelvic floor muscles with manometry using the Peritron equipment;Assess urine loss using the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire - Short Form (ICIQ-SF);To assess the impact of pelvic floor dysfunctions on quality of life using the Pelvic Floor Disorders-Related Discomfort Questionnaire (PFBQ)
