Age
18 Years to No maximum
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients to be included must be over 18 years of age; of both sexes; multiethnic; have a minimum of eight teeth; cancer patients must have planned radiotherapy treatment in the head and neck region, provided that the oral cavity is included in the radiation field in External Beam Radiotherapy and Brachytherapy modalities, with irradiation between 50 and 70 Gray
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Cancer patients will not be included if the interval between the first dental consultation and the start of radiotherapy is insufficient for evaluation and initiation of the necessary dental treatment; all patients, cancer patients or not, who have used bisphosphonates or other antiresorptive medications in the last 12 months and antibiotics in the last 3 months will be excluded
