Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Runners must have one year running experience; have a weekly volume of 20 km; have long distance running experience; have a running pattern of rearfoot and a history of injury to the knees and / or feet.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of traumas or fractures of the lower limbs in the last 6 months, have limb length difference of at most 1 cm and have no other musculoskeletal disorders, such as: neuropathies, obesity, rheumatoid arthritis and spurs. Possessing prostheses and orthoses in lower limbs.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1 - Improvement in plantar pressure, evaluated by the pressure platform with a reduction of at least 10% on the heel. Data collected 1 day before the intervention and after 2 weeks of gait training with visual feedback from novice runners.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 2 - Improvement in foot posture, assessed by Feet Posture Index and plantar arch, with reduction of foot pronation in 1% after 2 weeks of gait training with visual feedback from novice runners.;Expected outcome 2 - 1.3% reduction in the pronation of the right foot and 1.5% of the left foot, measured through the Feet Posture Index and the plantar arch. Data collected 1 day before the intervention and 2 weeks after the gait training intervention with visual feedback in novice runners.
