Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Men be over 18 years of age; who know how to read and write; and that they score AUDIT between 8 and 19.They should be classified as well risk use or harmful use of alcohol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Being in treatment or attending a group related to the use of alcohol; be a carrier of cognitive disability that impedes the understanding of the terms of the research; being intoxicated or under the effect of some psychoactive substance; not have a telephone or home address.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Alcohol use pattern, defined by the frequency and amount of substance use. This was verified using the AUDIT instrument. After the intervention, it is expected that the AUDIT score will decrease, that is, the use pattern will be lower, and this decrease will continue over time.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Readiness for change. It is the motivation that the individual has to make changes in behavior regarding alcohol use. The outcome was verified using the readiness for change scale. It is expected that after the intervention the readiness for change will increase and it will remain in time.
