Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 60 years or older; Be of any gender; Be recruited from the cardiogeriatrics sector of the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology; Be classified as frail

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of dementia; Presence of psychiatric disorders; Presence of mental disability; History of stroke with severe impairment; Presence of physical impairment that prevents mobility for performing the exercises

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Modification in frailty status, assessed by the difference in the score and classification of frailty (Fried scale) between baseline and the end of the 24-week intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in physical-functional capacity, assessed by upper and lower limb strength tests, muscle power (five times sit-to-stand test), and agility/dynamic balance (Timed Up and Go test) after 24 weeks of intervention.
