Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: To present urinary incontinence, have not performed any previous physiotherapeutic treatment for pelvic dysfunctions, do not have pacemakers or cardiovascular diseases and are not pregnant.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women presenting with an infectious condition, who present with a grade III or IV prolapse, who complain of unbearable pain at physical examination of pelvic floor muscle strength and who present more than 3 absences during the treatment period.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation of urinary symptoms related to overactive bladder syndrome by International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire Overactive Bladder (ICIQ-OAB). The score ranges from 0 to 16 points, which reflects the patient's quality of life. Each question has a scale ranging from 0 (no bothers) to 10 (very bothers) to analyze the bothers the each symptom ;Evaluation of urinary loss using the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire - Short Form (ICIQ-SF) questionnaire. The final score varies from 0 to 21 points, in which the higher the worse the quality of life reported by the evaluated, being divided as follows: no impact (0 point), slight impact (1-3 points), moderate impact ( 4-6 points), severe (7-9 points) and very severe (> 10 points)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assess patient satisfaction through Patient Global Impression (PGI). The scale ranges from 1 (much better) to 5 (much worse);Vaginal manometry will be performed through the PeritronTM model 9300AV, which measures the intensity of contraction of the pelvic floor muscles through an intravaginal electrode. The procedure is repeated three times, with an interval of 1 minute between the attempts, to avoid fatigue of the musculature. The value is given in cmH2O, being an indirect measure of muscular strength
