Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Anxiety reduction in students submitted to collaborative clinical simulation (experimental group) compared to conventional clinical simulation (control group), verified by the difference in the mean scores of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory instrument in the two groups by at least 4 points. The instrument's alternatives receive scores ranging from 1 to 4 and add a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 80 points, which indicate low anxiety (20 to 40), moderate anxiety (40 to 60) and high anxiety (60 to 80).;Increased self-confidence and satisfaction in students undergoing collaborative clinical simulation (experimental group) compared to conventional clinical simulation (control group), verified by the difference in mean scores of the Student Satisfaction Scale and Self-confidence in Learning in both groups. The scale consists of 13 items with 5-point Likert responses, divided into two dimensions: satisfaction, with five items and a maximum score of 25 points; learning, with eight items and a maximum score of 40 points.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increased learning in students submitted to collaborative clinical simulation (experimental group) compared to conventional simulation (control group), verified by the difference in the mean of the post-test scores in the two groups. The post-test has a maximum sum of 10 points.
