Age
25 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Couples in which one spouse has a confirmed diagnosis of leukemia by a specialist physician; both partners voluntarily agree to participate in Solution-Focused Couple Therapy; at least two years of married life; age between 25 and 45 years; minimum education level equivalent to completion of middle school; ability to attend weekly therapy sessions; absence of severe psychiatric disorders or substance abuse that may interfere with participation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of severe cognitive impairment; diagnosis of psychotic disorders or severe psychiatric conditions; current substance dependence; simultaneous participation in another structured psychological intervention; inability to attend scheduled therapy sessions

Evaluate change in marital satisfaction verified using the Hudson Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire with score range 25 to 175 measured at baseline immediately after completion of the intervention and three months after the intervention with an expected improvement in marital satisfaction compared with baseline

Evaluate change in marital intimacy verified using the Bagarozzi Marital Intimacy Questionnaire measured at baseline immediately after completion of the intervention and three months after the intervention with an expected improvement in marital intimacy compared with baseline;Evaluate change in marital adjustment verified using the Spanier Dyadic Adjustment Scale measured at baseline immediately after completion of the intervention and three months after the intervention with an expected improvement in marital adjustment compared with baseline
