| Expected Outcome 1 For assessing the dissolution profile and drug release of the functionalized membranes with both heparin and essential fatty acids, the “Dissolution Guide applicable to generic, new, and similar drugs” is in force from 09/05/2018 and published by ANVISA will be followed. This guide uses the 100 rpm basket method to dissolve phosphate buffer samples at pH 7.4 to 37 ± 1 ° C. All biocompatible membranes used in developing this research project will be provided through collaboration with the Bioelectronics Research Group, Photovoltaic Devices, and Materials Chemistry at the Institute of Exact Sciences of the Federal University of Amazonas. This research group has the electrospinning system and the technical resources and materials for manufacturing the functionalized membranes.;Outcome found 1 Electrospinning allows the manufacture of medical materials that can mimic cell-matrix and stimulate epithelial growth and can be continually studied in tissue making. Polycaprolactone polymer can be applicable in different forms, and its versatility is not limited to associations or means. The effectiveness of ozone gas in sterilization processes can be applied to manufacture medical materials with PCL. The membranes had good adaptation and adhesion capacity but low secretion absorption, with better results in the up to deep school injuries. Thus, macro porous is needed to assess the possibility of application in more intense lesions.;Outcome found 2 The great capacity of the membranes was observed in reducing the pain, a fact that can be credited to the coverage of the exposed nerve endings in a simplistic way, and which needs a sequence of studies for proper evaluation of reason since the fact is an important feat for both for the academic area for medical application. Regarding the shared study between the membranes, the inferiority of the AGE membranes was noted, suggesting that the fatty compounds act as emollients or “solvents” throughout the manufacturin | — |
