Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with compensated liver cirrhosis or with the presence of varices; liver disease severity classification as Child-Pugh A or Child-Pugh B; patients with a clinical diagnosis of portal hypertension; individuals over eighteen and under sixty-five years of age; volunteers with outpatient indications eligible for nutritional intervention and resistance exercise
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with acute liver failure; individuals with a diagnosis or history of malignant neoplasm; pregnant women; breastfeeding women; patients who are on continuous anticoagulant medication; individuals with a past or current medical history of multiple organ failure
