Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult smokers undergoing treatment State Center for Specialized Attention of Juiz de Fora and who sign the free and informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smoker users who, at any time, request the cancellation of the signed free informed consent.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Adherence rate: percentage of smokers who attended the first session among those who were invited to it. Subsequently, the number of sessions that the smoker participated will be counted until the end of the 4th and 12th week.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Degree of motivation: level measured by an analogue scale in the form of a ruler, tabulated from zero to ten, applied to each patient at the end of the 4th and 12th week.;Completion rate: percentage of smokers who completed treatment (attending the approach to the conclusion of drug treatment at week 12), among those who started treatment at the 1st session of Behavioral Cognitive Approach.;Cessation index: relation between ex-smokers (who stopped smoking until the fourth session of cognitive behavioral approach) and the sum of ex-smokers with smokers of the same group (INCA). This outcome will also be measured in the same way at the end of the 12th week.;Numbers of daily cigarettes consumed: number of cigarettes consumed per day by study participants in the 4th and 12th week.
