Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: individuals over 18 years of age; diagnostic criteria for chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps; voluntary participation confirmed by signing the informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: absence of visible polypoid disease on nasal endoscopy; sinonasal neoplasms or secondary causes of chronic rhinosinusitis; comorbidities contraindicating the use of systemic corticosteroids, even for a short period; chronic use of corticosteroids or immunodeficiencies; history of head and neck radiotherapy or previous nasal trauma; pregnancy; psychiatric disorders without clinical control
