Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteers over the age of 18; both genders.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Mean difference in blood pressure obtained in the auscultatory method and the oscillometric method, under conditions of full care to the recommended protocol for measurement and when the following protocol deviations occur: use of standard adult size blood pressure cuffs regardless of the participant's arm circumference; measurement performed in noisy environment; or use of standard adult size blood pressure cuffs regardless of the participant's arm circumference in a noisy environment.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increased mean difference in blood pressure between measurement methods associated with sex.;Increased mean difference in blood pressure between measurement methods associated with age.;Increased mean difference in blood pressure between measurement methods associated with upper arm circumference.;Increased mean difference in blood pressure between measurement methods associated with comorbidities.
