Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Evaluate if cardiovascular rehabilitation lead to an improvement of 10 percent or more in oxygen consumption, and if cardiovascular rehabilitation could decrease left atrium and increase left ventricular volumes in patients with endomyocardial fibrosis. Cardiopulmonary exercise test and echocardiogram evaluation were performed on endomyocardial fibrosis patients.;Cardiovascular rehabilitation increased oxygen consumption, decreased left atrium volume and increased left ventricle volume. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Evaluate if cardiovascular rehabilitation lead to an improvement of 10 percent or more in quality of life in patients with endomyocardial fibrosis. An especific questionnare that evaluates the impact of heart failure on daily life activities on endomyocardial fibroses patients were evaluated. | — |
