Eligibility
Age
18 Years to 70 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 and 70 years old, Health adult patient older than 18 years old; Patient requesting two full-crown restorations (both on anterior or both on posterior teeth); Occlusal contact of the tooth to be restored with the antagonist tooth; The selected teeth do not require endodontic treatment our were (or will) be properly endodontically treated before the research treatment; The selected tooth has not structural loss OR have more than ½ of remaining crown structure OR have less than ½ of the crown structure but can be restored after receive intraradicular post; Tooth mobility degree 0 or 1 according to Miller (no mobility or up to 1mm).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Signs of bruxism; Severe periodontal disease on all teeth or on the teeth indicated for treatment; Systemic disease that counter indicate dental treatment; Pregnancy; Allergy to the restorative materials; Selected tooth showing mobility degree 2 or 3 according to Miller; Clinical or radiographic signs of active periapical or bifurcation lesions; Invasion of the biologic width; Root fractures; Tooth with painful symptoms and impossible to treat, being extraction indicated.

| Expected outcome 2 - To evaluate changes on anatomical form of the restoration, evaluated by visual direct clinical observation ;Expected outcome 3 - To evaluate occurrence of defects on the marginal adaptation of the restoration, evaluated by visual direct clinical observation and probing of the restoration margins with standardized probes;Expected outcome 4 - To evaluate changes on color and translucency match between the restoration and the remaining tooth structure, evaluated by visual direct clinical observation;Expected outcome 5 - To evaluate the changes on the surface roughness of the restorations, evaluated by visual direct clinical observation;Expected outcome 6 - To evaluate the occurrence of secondary caries on restorations margins, evaluated by visual clinical examination, probing of the margins and radiographic examination;Expected outcome 7 - To evaluate the periodontal response around the restoration, evaluated by visual clinical examination and periodontal probing of the crevice;Expected outcome 8 - To evaluate the biofilm deposition around the restoration, evaluated by visual clinical examination and use of disclosing agent ;Expected outcome 9 - To evaluate occlusal contour and wear of the restoration, evaluated by visual direct clinical observation, impression and indirect analysis of epoxy replicas;Expected outcome 10 - To evaluate the occurrence of pulpal reaction and post-operative sensitivity, evaluated by anamnesis ;Expected outcome 11 - To evaluate the patient satisfaction in relation to the treatment, evaluated by anamnesis ;Expected outcome 12 - To evaluate the occlusal contacts of the restorations, evaluated by visual direct clinical observation after using the articulating paper ;Expected outcome 13 - To evaluate the occurrence of fractures and chipping of the restoration, evaluated by visual inspection ;Expected outcome 12 - To evaluate the wear produced by the restoration on the opposing tooth, evaluated by visual clinical examin | — |
