Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Over 18 years of age; both sexes; undergoing heart surgery for myocardial revascularization, valve replacement or plasties, aortic surgeries and combined surgeries; provide written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neurological disorders that interfere with the ability to understand; heart surgery without cardiopulmonary bypass; inability to perform the proposed exercise protocol; surgical re-approach.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to improve heart rate variability, assessed by linear methods in the time and frequency domain, from the observation of a variation in pre- and post-intervention assessments.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
An improvement in the functional capacity evaluated by the five-repetition sit-and-stand test is expected, based on the observation of a variation in the pre- and post-intervention assessments.;It is expected to improve peripheral muscle strength assessed by handgrip strength, from the observation of a variation in pre and post intervention assessments.;The intervention group is expected to reach the ambulation milestone before the control group, which will be evaluated by the time in hours that the individual took to reach 100 meters of walking.
