Eligibility

Age
50 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of both sexes; aged 50 years or older; presenting with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD); using home oxygen; with an Modified Medical Research Council Scale (mMRC) score between 1-3; who have clinically tested positive for at least two weeks; Review the Informed Consent Form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: orthopedic or cognitive conditions that prevent them from performing functional capacity tests; , pulmonary embolism, stroke, acute myocardial failure, peripheral arterial disease; smokers; using beta-blocker medications; undergoing another form of non-drug treatment; patients who cannot tolerate the exercise session;exacerbation in the last two weeks; those who refuse to sign the Free and informed consent form

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that after the 12 training sessions the group that will perform the sessions with blood flow restriction will obtain better results when compared to the group that will perform the sessions with simulated blood flow restriction

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that after the 12 training sessions, both groups will show improvements in functional tests and questionnaires
