During a period of 6 weeks, from May to July, adolescents belonging to the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Group (GJJB), composed of 17 participants, were engaged for 60 minutes, three times a week in the program

Age
10 Years to 12 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; both genders; age between 8 and 12 years; enrolled in the educational institution of the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: diagnosis of any physical limitation that prevents the intervention program and the physical test from being performed; have any psychological disorder or disorder that affects cognitive performance; diagnosis of eye diseases.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find improvements in the physical capacity analyzed by the 20 meter back and forth test. ;It is expected to find improvements in cognitive functions analyzed by visual attention test, stroop test, trails and digits.;It is expected to find improvements in school performance analyzed through the school performance test.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvements in student performance are expected to be found in the classroom, as analyzed by the school grades and teacher feedback.
