Eligibility

Age
14 Years to 19 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 14 and 19 years of both sexes; have a cell phone; treatment with fixed orthodontic appliance; exclusive presence of permanent dentition and who accepted to participate voluntarily through the Consent Form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: previous orthodontic treatment; presence of anterior pathology or disease related to pain; chronic use of analgesic medication and the presence of syndromes.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparing to the control group, patients participating in the inbtrevencion group who used the Application to encourage oral hygiene will present improvement of oral hygiene compared to the control group.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comparing to the control group, patients participating in the intervention group who used the Application should have a behavioral change over time in relation to oral health.
