Data will be collected from male athletes, aged between 14 and 20 years, from the Bento Volêi club, located in the city of Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul. This study will have a randomized crossov

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Starting players; male; aged between 14 and 20 years; have daily training routines.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Injured athletes who are out of training and / or competing in the past six months, athletes using anti-inflammatory drugs, and athletes who have an aversion or allergy to the components of grape juice will be excluded

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome will be the evaluation of oxidative stress parameters (enzymatic activity, lipid peroxidation, protein oxidation, DNA damage, antioxidant activity) before and after grape juice consumption. These parameters are expected to decrease after chronic consumption (14 days) of red grape juice.;It was observed that consumption of grape juice significantly reduced lipid damage, DNA damage after departure, being an important source of polyphenols for the diet.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome will be the assessment, before and after the consumption of grape juice, of inflammatory marker parameters and indicators of pain and effort, which may be related to muscle fatigue. Chronic (14 days) consumption of grape juice is expected to decrease inflammatory markers and indicators of pain and effort, as well as favoring the aerobic capacity of the individuals in this study ;It was observed that chronic consumption (14 days) of grape juice reduced inflammatory markers and indicators of pain and exertion, favoring the aerobic capacity of the individuals in this study.
