Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Do not have dementia; Do not present severe visual impairment or blindness;Do not present severe hearing loss or deafness; No hemiparesis or hemiplegia due to stroke; Do not present neurodegenerative disease; such as: Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's; Multiple Sclerosis; Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis; among others; To be able to wander without using an auxiliary gear; Have the proper medical control of chronic diseases and risk factors; according to medical guidance. Example; Diabetes mellitus and Systolic Arterial Hypertension controlled by drug; ccording to the prescription of a doctor;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. miss to 25% or more of the total number of meetings held; 2. Suffering hospitalization due to serious reason or hospitalization for more than 24 hours; 3. By choice, leave the research; 4. Suffering Stroke.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
improvement of the physical and cognitive performance, measured through tests and questionnaires, of the participants submitted to the cognitive training, comparing them to the control group; reduction of the risk of falls and fear of falling from the physically active participants as well as those submitted to cognitive training

increased serum levels of BDNF as a marker of depression in participants submitted to cognitive training or not
