Eligibility

Age
0 Years to 21 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients from zero to twenty-one years, both genders, diagnosed with malignancies undergoing quimiotherapy;Pediatric patients diagnosed with OM > 1 (WHO);Patients in accordance with the research by signing the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with malignancies in oral cavity; Patients incapable of complying with the treatment; Patients in a serious situation that prevents participation in the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Clinical cure of the oral mucositis expressed by at least one point regretion on the World Health Organization (WHO) mucositis scale and pain absence registered on Children’s International Mucositis Evaluation Scale (ChIMES).
