Interventions

The subjects will be divided into 3 groups as follows: a) group 1 (20 older adults) - exercise intensity set at 30 % of a maximum repetition with blood flow restriction
b) group 2 (20 older adults) - exercise intensity set at 30 % of a maximum repetition without blood flow restriction
c) group 3 (20 older adults) - exercise intensity set at 70 % of a maximum repetition without blood flow restriction. The subjects will perform the sequence of four resistance exercises, two for uppe

Age
65 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 65 to 100 years without regular physical activity for at least six months with sarcopenia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Muscle problems; cardiovascular diseases; obesity; smoking; cancer; diabetes mellitus; autoimmune diseases.
