Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with indirect restorations in the upper and lower anterior region; patients who have a history of adverse reaction to peroxide; patients who use opioids or drugs that influence the neuro-sensory response; patients who have a pacemaker; patients with tooth stains (tetracycline, trauma, fluorosis and unknown etiology); patients with neurological diseases; patients with chronic or acute diseases; patients with exposed dental tissue; patients with dental sensitivity or with a history of treatment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a similar chromatic change in all groups, in order to restrict the area of application of the bleaching gel. This way, it will be verified through the chromatic alteration analysis method, using Easyshade to obtain the chromatic alteration results at all previously established times. It will be possible to observe if the variation of the application site will directly influence the chromatic alteration or if the whitening gel has potential for action at a distance.;It is expected to find a decrease in tooth sensitivity by restricting the area of application of the bleaching gel. In this way, it will be verified through the thermo-sensory analysis method - TSA Metodic II to obtain the results of changes in the threshold of thermal sensation at all times previously established. It will be possible to observe whether the variation of the application site will directly influence the alteration of the thermal sensation threshold.
