Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1 - it is expected that continuous aerobic exercise of moderate intensity will not increase levels of anxiety-state and anger-state after exposure to unpleasant emotional stimuli. This outcome will be assessed using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and State Trait Anger Expression Inventory. In order to assess anxiety, this instrument has two scales with 20 each and 4 answer options and scores ranging from 20 to 80 points. To assess rabies, the instrument contains 44 items with 4 response alternatives and the final score ranges from 0 to 100. The difference in the total score before and after the intervention will be analyzed considering a variation of at least 5%.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the exercise provides protection to the anxiety-state levels (with reduced levels) according to the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory in the pre and post measurements (immediately after, 10, and 20 minutes) exposure to unpleasant stimuli.;It is expected that the exercise provides protection to the anger-state levels (with reduced levels) according to the State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory in the pre and post measurements (immediately after, 10 and 20 minutes) exposure to unpleasant stimuli.
