Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: In Ecologic studies we analyse Municipalities that have effectively adopted the mass distribution of Camphora 1M by June 30, 2020. Not people especificaly we analyse hospitalizations. Control municipalities, with similar demographic characteristics, chosen by comparing these variables, according to the protocol described

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Municipalities dissimilar to the adhering municipalities regarding the assumptions described in the predictor variables

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected result: Number of confirmed Covid-19 hospitalization deaths in the period from 4/28 to 7/31/2021. Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable with non-parametric test ajusted normal distribution: deaths, by the Mann-Whitney test for independent samples expected diference with a 5% in p value;Found result: Number of confirmed Covid-19 hospitalization deaths in the period from 4/28 to 7/31/2021. Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable with non-parametric test ajusted normal distribution: deaths, by the Mann-Whitney test for independent samples show no diference with a p value of 0.690

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Expected result: Hospitalization of Covid-19 patients admitted to the hospital in the period from 4/28 to 7/31/2021. Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable of nonparametric test with ajusted normal distribution: cases hospitalized for Covid-19, by the Mann-Whitney test for independent samples expected a p value with 5% of difference;Expected result: Daily ward stay of Covid-19 in this period hospitalized in the period from 4/28 to 7/31/2021.Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable: daily ward rates, by the student's t-test for independent samples expected a p value with 5% of diference;Expected result: Number of cases of Covid-19 hospitalized in Intesive Care Unit ICU from 4/28 to 7/31/2021. Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable: ICU daily, using Student's t-test for independent samples expected a p value difference of 5%;Foud result: Hospitalization of Covid-19 patients admitted to the hospital in the period from 4/28 to 7/31/2021. Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable of nonparametric test with ajusted normal distribution: cases hospitalized for Covid-19, by the Mann-Whitney test for independent samples showed a p value of 0.421;Found result: Daily ward stay of Covid-19 in this period hospitalized in the period from 4/28 to 7/31/2021.Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable: daily ward rates, by the student's t-test for independent samples showed a p value of 0.991;Found result: Number of cases of Covid-19 hospitalized in Intesive Care Unit ICU from 4/28 to 7/31/2021. Analysis of the difference between case and control units regarding the continuous outcome or dependent variable: ICU daily, using Studen
