Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of both genders; Age between 18 and 60 years; Non-radicular lumbar pain greater than or equal to five in the Visual Analogue Pain Scale for a period greater than three months; Not performing any other type of physiotherapeutic approach for non-radicular lumbar pain at the time of the study; Have signed the Free and Informed Consent Form; Medical referral for physiotherapeutic treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe spinal pathologies (fracture, tumors, and inflammatory conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis); Previous surgery in the lumbar region; Involvement of the nerve root (disc herniation and spondylolisthesis with neurological involvement of the spine, stenosis and others); Against general indication for the use of KT (allergy or intolerance to the use of the bandage); Severe cardiorespiratory disease; pregnancy; Non-attendance in three consecutive visits.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of pain evaluated through the Visual Analogue Pain Scale (VAS) prior to intervention, post intervention and follow-up evaluation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in hamstring flexibility assessed by the Wells Bank with a reduction in centimeters in the bank from pre to post intervention. Improvement of the level of functionality evaluated through the functional scores of Roland Morris and Oswestry with reduction of the scores obtained from the pré to the post intervention.
