MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe an improvement in the burden and quality of life of family caregivers of patients with chronic illnesses, assessment using the WOQOL-BREF and Zarit Burden Interview instrument, before and after the application of the intervention incitement to self-care, which consists in the application of remembrance techniques and self-writing. The encouragement of self-care will be offered to the intervention group in two home visits with an interval of 21 to 30 days. For a comparison analysis before and after the intervention, the Wilcoxon test will be used, which is a non-parametric method for comparing two pairs, that is, when these two are dependent, in this case, the same individual was measured more than once - once before and once after the intervention. For an analysis of comparison between the intervention and control groups, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney test will be used, since, in this case, how they are independent, that is, the results of different individuals will be compared. The significance level for all tests will be 95% (a = 0.05) and will follow the intention-to-treat principle. P values ??will be expressed to the third decimal place with p values ??< 0.05 expressed as p < 0.05.
