Age
18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals undergoing cardiac surgery of both sexes; Between eighteen and seventy five years; That they agree to participate in the study; No postoperative complications that delay hospital discharge greater than eight days of hospitalization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who are unable to understand and follow the research procedures; Patients who have postoperative complications of cardiac surgery.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Maximum distance traveled in meters evaluated in the six-minute walk test before and after intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Respiratory muscle strength evaluated in centimeters of water by pre and post-intervention manovacuometry; localized resistance of lower limbs assessed by the number of repetitions performed on the sit test and raised in one minute before and after intervention; time of mechanical ventilation in hours; length of stay in the intensive care unit in hours; total hospital stay in days.
