Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Older adults aged sixty years or older. both sexes. participants regularly enrolled in the Open University for Older Adults of the Augusto Motta University Center. ability to walk independently with or without an assistive device. availability to attend all intervention sessions. preserved cognitive ability to understand and follow instructions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous diagnosis of disabling neurological diseases. severe musculoskeletal disorders that prevent exercise performance. presence of a cardiac pacemaker or any implanted electronic device. recent orthopedic surgery in the lower limbs within the last six months. decompensated cardiovascular conditions. use of medications that significantly affect postural control. uncontrolled vertigo or vestibular disorders. medical conditions that contraindicate exposure to mechanical vibration

Evaluate the effect of systemic vibratory therapy combined with a physical activity program on concern about falling measured by the international fall efficacy scale Brazilian version before and after the intervention in older adults

Evaluate functional physical conditioning through the two minute step test before and after the intervention and assess neuromuscular variables through surface electromyography of the tibialis anterior and medial gastrocnemius muscles associated with center of pressure analysis before and after the intervention
