Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly females; over 60 years old; with normal cognition

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Male subject; aged under 60 years; with musculoskeletal injuries; cognitive impairment; chronic diseases such as uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, neoplasms and kidney diseases

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the progression of muscle mass loss in different therapeutic strategies using ultrasound of the muscles of the lower limbs

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the strength of the quadriceps femoris and gastrocnemius muscles will improve and the muscle volume will increase, optimizing gait, balance, flexibility and quality of life, measured using functional tests and quality of life questionnaires.
