Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age = 18 years; use of HFNC during hospitalization

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that 400 patients who used HFNC will be identified at the Hospital Center. Of these, over the entire data collection period, a 50% therapy success rate is expected (weaning from therapy without the need for orotracheal intubation for 48 hours).—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the difference in HFNC outcomes (therapy success and failure) between the COVID-19 group and the group with other etiologies will not be significant.—
