Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers over 18 years of age; of either gender; with an indication for the extraction of premolar or molar teeth from any dental arch who have adjacent teeth present; and are willing to cooperate with the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Volunteers presenting with teeth affected by acute periapical or periodontal infections (abscesses); those with severe systemic diseases or under medications such as chemotherapy, anticoagulants, corticosteroids, antiresorptive drugs, or immunosuppressive agents; patients using systemic melatonin; individuals with decompensated chronic diseases; metabolic bone disorders; any motor dysfunction that impairs or prevents proper oral hygiene; smokers (former smokers must have ceased smoking for at least 6 months); pregnant women; and patients who have undergone radiotherapy within the past 5 years
