| With the implementation of the functional training protocol, it is expected that these older adults will present better locomotor gait performance, such as greater velocity and length and smaller width and duration of steps, after completing the functional training An improvement in the locomotor pattern is expected in relation to the variables of the stairs, such as greater toe clearance and horizontal distance between the foot and the step during the tasks stair ascent and descent. Furthermore, it is expected that this behavior will occur when walking on the stairs is associated with avoidance obstacles and with the dual motor task of carrying a bag | — |

| Regarding postural control, it is expected that after training there will be better performance of temporal variables (lower average oscillation amplitude for the anteroposterior and mediolateral directions and total average speed) and frequency (50% and 80% of the spectral power of the center of pressure for the anteroposterior and mediolateral directions); It is expected that with functional training, these older adults will present improvements in dynamic balance (MiniBESTest) and muscle power (sit-and-stand test 5 times), as well as an improvement in the fear of falling when stair ancent and descent and associated tasks | — |
