Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Individuals older than or equal to 25 years and less than 60 years; both sexes; low risk or intermediate cardiovascular risk characterized by the overall risk score; with overweight and obesity grade I according to the classification of the World Health Organization.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals with high and very high cardiovascular risk, according to the Update of the Brazilian Dyslipidemias Directive and Prevention of Atherosclerosis; not have performed a lipid profile test in the last year; inability to ingest caffeine; infectious diseases active or treated in the last 30 days; neurological disease; type diabetes mellitus; familial dyslipidemia; smokers; hospitalization in the last 2 months; Renal insufficiency; hepatical cirrhosis; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; coronary artery disease; cardiac insufficiency; atrial fibrillation; severe peripheral arterial insufficiency.
