Conditions

Arterial hypertension, pre-hypertension

Interventions

Design: Group 1 - 30 normotensive volunteers
these participants need present systolic (SBP) and diastolic (DBP) blood pressure values lower 130 mmHg and 85 mmHg, respectively. Group 2 - 30 pre-hypertensive volunteers
these participants need present measures of SBP and DBP between 130-139 mmHg and 85-89 mmHg, respectively, identified in two distinct moments (Appendix 1). Phases: 1. Par-Q survey, destined to evalua
2) 2nd warming: execution of 3-5 movements with 60-80% of the estimated 1RM's load
3) Movement exercised against 100% of the estimated 1RM's load
4) Since 3rd pass has been successly completed, 4th pass will be constituted by a movement exercised against 110% of the estimated 1RM's load
or 5) Since 3rd pass has not been successly completed, 4th section will be constituted by a movement exercised against 95% of the estimated 1RM's load
6) 4th and 5th sections should be repeated between one and five times

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult volunteers; male gender; normotensive or pre-hypertensive according VI SBH Guidelines (2013); without musculoskeletal diseases; do not practice physical exercise within previous 24 hours before the analyzes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Attendant of private human groups, as indigenous and others; to be anti-hypertensive pharmacological treatment user; to be carrier of musculoskeletal disorders in lower limbs; to be user of alcohol, tobacco, or cofee, as well as non-practitioner of physical activity during last 24 hours before the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pre-hypertensive volunteers show higher arterial pressure values, which will be obtained by indirect and oscillometric method, in comparison to normotensive subjects, during the execution of one repetition maximum test (1RM), according to detection of 5% variations among measurements realized before, during and after the 1RM test.;Pre-hypertensive volunteers show lower indexes of heart rate variability, analyzed from a heart rate receiver, in comparison to normotensive subjects, during the execution of one repetition maximum test (1RM), according to detection of 5% variations among measurements realized before, during and after the 1RM test.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It isn't expected secondary outcomes.
