Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants must be between 35 and 75 years old; of either sex; have osteoarthritis of the knee joint (unilateral or bilateral) lasting at least 2 years to ensure the chronic nature of the disease; and present pain greater than 4 on the Numerical Pain Scale in 3 of the following actions: climbing and descending stairs; kneeling, sitting and standing; running; and standing for 2 minutes
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants will not be included in the study if they present any type of contraindication to exercise; severe cardiorespiratory disease; untreated hypertension; uncontrolled diabetes mellitus; motor or sensory neurological deficits; frequent physical activity; fibromyalgia; rheumatoid arthritis; require a walking aid; recent hyaluronic acid injection and/or any type of invasive therapy; or refuse to participate in the study.
