Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria establish that the participants must be state military police officers between the ages of eighteen and forty; to present chronic nonspecific low back pain for a period of more than six months; be willing to participate in three weekly sessions of Pilates classes for a period of four months and not present any injury or illness that prevents the performance of the physical tests or any exercise proposed by the Pilates Method intervention program.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria of the present study include those police officers who do not complete all the pre and post intervention intervention tests; the police officers who do not regularly attend Pilates classes, that is, have twenty percent or more absences; suffer any type of injury, which prevents participation in the proposed tests or continuation of the training sessions and those participants requesting a dismissal of the research.
