Interventions
All participants will have the nail plate scored at 2 different points of the second and fourth billet bilaterally by a 40x1.2mm needle on the first day of the study. This will be the reference point

Eligibility
Age
18 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy men and women; 18 to 65 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant; infants; active smokers; active alcoholics;cutaneous or systemic pathology influencing nail growth; drugs established in the literature that alter nail growth; allergy to minoxidil or biotin
