Age
32 Weeks to 40 Weeks

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria of the research are Newborns equal to or greater than 32 weeks of gestation or weighing 1500g or more undergoing exam collection 12-hour laboratory tests / blood gas analysis / blood culture through arterial puncture.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neonates diagnosed with perinatal asphyxia (Apgar score less than 5 in 5 minutes); which do not show reflex who are using analgesics or sedatives; with malformations congenital disorders, syndromes and neurological manifestations; the son of women drugs.

Score equal to or less than 3 evaluated by the "Neonatal Infant Pain Scale" (NIPS) pain scale (after the intervention) during the arterial puncture procedure in newborns admitted to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.—

MeasureTime frame
Use of reflexotherapy for pain relief during the arterial puncture procedure in newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This outcome will be assessed using the "Neonatal Infant Pain Scale" (NIPS) pain scale.—
