Interventions

This is a controlled, randomized and experimental study with 2 arms: Group of healthy individuals with 105 subjects and Post-stroke group with 105 subjects. Each of the two will be subdivided into 4 e
2 will be with the measurement of palmar grip plus induction of overflow
3 with active neuromodulation plus handgrip measurement plus overflow induction and 4 with placebo neuromodulation with handgrip measurement plus overflow induction. Group allocation will be randomize

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 59 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy adults; with a diagnosis of ischemic stroke confirmed by computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging, between 3 weeks and 1 year after the stroke; of both sexes; aged between 18 and 59 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with any metal in the cranial cavity; injuries in the electrode placement area; with joint deformity in the upper and lower limbs; previous skull, eye or decompression surgery; severe cognitive impairment on the mini mental state examination scale (MMSE); uncontrolled epileptic seizure; in addition to clinical instability; global aphasia; previous visual disturbances; amputation of limbs; other associated neurological diseases or pregnancy

MeasureTime frame
To investigate the role of interhemispheric inhibition on strength parameters in motor overflow in the upper limbs of healthy individuals.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To investigate the role of acute neuromodulation influence on strength parameters in motor overflow in the upper limbs of post-stroke individuals, also quantified by clinical improvement.
