Age
60 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The research will include the elderly in the clinical sector physiotherapy school in the between 60 and 80 years of age; regardless of gender; those who agreed to participate in the research through the signing of the informed consent form (TCLE).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Will be excluded from the research the gerontans who present psychiatric disorder; injuries; metabolic decompensation; labyrinthitis; otitis; low cognition; second advocated by the Ministry of Health, through the Mimi Mental State Examination (BRASIL, 2006) or those who withdraw their consent.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increase in muscle strength and decrease in glycemic level in the period of eight visits, through the Bad Ragaz method, from the finding of a variation of at least 40% in pre and post-intervention measurements

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increased respiratory muscle strength and improvement of oxidative stress in the period of eight visits, through the Bad Ragaz method, from the finding of a variation of at least 10% in pre and post-intervention measurements.
