Primary

MeasureTime frame
Greater color change in aesthetic orthodontic elastics when subjected to mouthwashes with alcohol.;The use of mouthwash (with or without alcohol) during orthodontic treatment reduces the amount of microorganisms in orthodontic elastics, not influencing their color change.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Greater change in the surface of elastics subjected to mouthwashes containing alcohol and increased pigmentation of the elastics over time.;All bandages show their clinically unacceptable colors after 21 days with superficial physical changes.
