Age
10 Years to 16 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Students of both sexes; aged between 10 and 16 years; enrolled in the year 2016 in elementary and secondary education of the public network of the city of Montes Claros.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Students who do not bring the free and informed consent form signed by parents and / or guardians; Who are pregnant or with conditions that prevent the practice of physical activity.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Decreased cardiovascular risk in adolescents through a moderate to vigorous physical activity program.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of overweight in adolescents by at least 5%, from a moderate to vigorous physical activity program, comparing pre and post-intervention measures.;Decreased metabolic parameters (glucose, total cholesterol and fractions, triglycerides) in adolescents by at least 5%, from a moderate to vigorous physical activity program, verified after intervention through laboratory blood tests.
