18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult and elderly patients - minumum age 18 years old; on invasive mechanical ventilation; of both sexes; who present hyperglycemia (blood glucose =180 mg/dl) in the first 72 hours after hospitalization

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients already admitted to palliative care
