Eligibility

Age
40 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 40 and 70 years; of both sexes; diagnosed with Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction (HFrEF) or Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF); classified as functional class II or III according to the New York Heart Association (NYHA); on stable optimized medical therapy; heart failure with ejection fraction equal to or less than 40%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any relative or absolute contraindication to exercise; presence of pacemaker with fixed heart rate and heart rate limits below the target proposed for physical training; major cardiovascular events or procedures performed within two months prior to study inclusion

It is expected to evaluate the evolution of serum levels of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) or N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) before and after a training program with or without blood flow restriction, verified through standardized laboratory measurement, based on the observation of a significant reduction in mean values between baseline and after 12 weeks of intervention

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to generate new clusters of patients with heart failure capable of identifying good responders to cardiac rehabilitation methods, verified through lipidomic, metabolomic, microRNA analyses and flow-mediated dilation, based on the observation of specific phenotypic patterns that allow the development of personalized treatments in patients with severe heart failure
