Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate changes in body composition as the primary outcome, measured by electrical bioimpedance, including body fat percentage, fat mass, lean mass, visceral fat and basal metabolic rate, compared between the pre-intervention assessment and up to two days after completion of the multiprofessional program

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate anthropometric changes including body weight, body mass index and body circumferences before and after the intervention, to compare the effects of group-based nutritional counseling and individualized diet on anthropometric and body composition variables, and to analyze the differential response to the two nutritional intervention models within the context of a multiprofessional program
