Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the elderly to be 60 years of age or older; male or female; with medical diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or mixed dementia; classified as mild dementia or moderate dementia; in the outpatient clinic of geriatrics and dementias; presenting one or more neuropsychiatric symptoms and being cared for by a family member. inclusion criteria for the caregiver be the main family caregiver of the elderly selected for the research; reside with the elderly; male or female; aged 18 years or over; reside in the city of Ribeirão Preto; present emotional or psychological erosion and present a preserved cognitive state
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the elderly be institutionalized; classified as severe dementia.there is no exclusion criterion for the caregiver
